Our work starts from space: understanding how an organisation works and designing environments that enable its goals. Architecture and space planning are the core of what we do. From this expertise we develop an integrated model of design and delivery, design & build, which we offer with full cost transparency.
Method first
Every project starts from data. Through interviews and surveys we map how the organisation works, review the results with management and define the reference model. Space planning, the BOMA standard and Community Based Design translate that model into measurable space. This is the foundation on which the client builds its decision.
A multidisciplinary team
From space planning, the project brings in the disciplines it needs: architecture, mechanical and electrical engineering, structures, urban planning and specialist consultancy. An established multidisciplinary team ensures consistency between design and execution, from analysis to delivery.
Design & build, open book
When the client wishes, ARCHIlabs also takes on delivery through the design & build model: a single party responsible for design and construction. The economic model is open book, with an agreed fee. The client knows the real costs of supplies and contractors, with no hidden mark-ups. Coordination draws on the established team and a network of selected contractors, with the same rigour applied to the design.
The value for the client
An operator that starts from method has no stake in a catalogue or in suppliers: choices stay oriented to the company's goals. Entrusting design and delivery to a single point of contact reduces handovers, variations and downtime, and keeps control over quality and budget.
Space planning is the entry point. Design & build, open book, is how we carry the project through to delivery.
Design & build in industrial settings too
The same model – design and delivery under a single responsible party, in full transparency – applies to production buildings too. Go deeper in Industrial architecture: the warehouse as a project.
