Entry-level estimate: we assume ~16 m² gross per workstation (all-in: including circulation, services, walls and a share of common spaces). The floor area remains indicative — it depends on the teams' real profiles and on the space efficiency (net-to-gross ratio, BOMA standard). We derive the precise number with the survey.

How the calculation works

The estimate starts from two simple levers: how many people you have and their average attendance in the office. The recommended workstations cover the real attendance plus a small margin for peaks; the ratio is the relationship between people and workstations. The collaboration/focus mix shows where to reinvest the space you free up — areas for interaction or spaces for concentration.

It is deliberately entry-level: it gives an order of magnitude. The precise number requires measuring the teams' typical day with the survey, because there is no single ratio — it depends on the work profiles.
